Psychological Evaluations
DCPA provides clinical psychological evaluations to clarify diagnostic questions and support treatment or service planning. We also provide pre-employment psychological evaluations for police and other law-enforcement candidates.
Clarity can guide the next step.
People seek psychological evaluations for many reasons, including questions about attention, mood, behavior, trauma, learning, or overall functioning. An evaluation brings together information from multiple sources to develop a clearer and more complete picture.
Our evaluation process may include clinical interviews, standardized testing, questionnaires, behavioral observations, and review of relevant records. Findings are integrated into practical recommendations tailored to the individual’s needs and referral concerns

DCPA provides pre-employment psychological evaluations for police and other law-enforcement candidates. Evaluations are completed in accordance with the requesting agency’s requirements and may include clinical interviews, standardized psychological measures, record review, and a written report.
What to Expect
01 — Clarify the referral question
We begin by discussing the presenting concerns, relevant history, and the questions the evaluation should address.
02 — Complete the assessment
The process may include interviews, standardized measures, questionnaires, observations, and review of relevant records.
03 — Review the findings
We explain the results and provide an integrated report with practical recommendations and appropriate next steps.
Please Note
Our evaluations are clinical—not forensic—and are intended to support diagnostic clarification and treatment or service planning. We do not accept evaluations intended primarily for litigation, custody determinations, or court testimony. Psychological evaluations are self-pay services and are not billed to or reimbursed through insurance.
